Schreiber dips into 'Sea'

Actor to narrate 'Prehistoric Adventure'

Liev Schreiber has signed on to narrate "Sea Monsters: A Prehistoric Adventure," a large-screen film from National Geographic that will premiere globally in both 3-D and 2-D at Imax and other specialty theaters on Oct. 5.

Using a combination of live action and CG animation, pic will take auds back 80 million years to explore the lives of dinosaur-era ocean dwellers.

National Geographic Giant Screen Films produces original 2-D and 3-D productions for the world's largest screens and is part of National Geographic Ventures, a wholly owned subsid of the National Geographic Society.

Schreiber will appear in New Line Cinema release "Love in the Time of Cholera," set for release in November.
