Trio chase Norway's Amandas
'Reprise,' 'Sons,' 'Uro' lead race

STOCKHOLM -- The race for Norway's Amanda Awards is wide open, with Joachim Trier's "Reprise," Erich Richter Strand's "Sons" and Stefan Faldbakken's "Uro" running neck and neck.

"Reprise" and "Sons" picked up nods for helmer, supporting actor and script. "Uro" was nommed for actor, actress and supporting actor.

All three films were nommed in the People's Amanda category, which will be voted on by the readers of VG, Norway's largest newspaper.

The awards will be handed out in Haugesund on Aug. 17, the day before the Intl. Norwegian Film Festival opens in the coastal town.
