Sundance calls for entries

Deadline for submissions is Aug. 20

The Sundance Film Festival has announced its call for entries for feature-length dramatic and documentary films, as well as shorts, for its 2008 edition, running Jan. 17-27 in Park City, Utah.

Early submission deadline for all pics is Aug. 20. Final submission deadline is Sept. 7 for shorts and Sept. 14 for features.

Fest will showcase 125 feature-length dramatic pics and docus in seven categories plus 70 short films. Selected in-competition features will be announced Nov. 29, while non-competition features and shorts will be unveiled on Nov. 30 and Dec. 6, respectively.
