Brad Keene ("The Gravedancers") wrote the script.
Production begins next month in Maryland.
Set in a small, God-fearing town, story focuses on a young girl caught between her Christian upbringing and a desire to experience the outside world. Her desire to break free is amplified when residents begin to die suspiciously.
Pic's being financed through a European equity fund. Chris Gibbin and Adrian Butchart produce, and John Moshay and Bumble Ward are exec producers.
Papamichael was the cinematographer of such films as "Walk the Line," "The Pursuit of Happyness" and the James Mangold-directed remake "3:10 to Yuma."
