Richmond began her career in 1964 as a typist at CBS. As a script supervisor for nearly 30 years, she worked on such television shows as "Maude," "Love, Sidney," "Gimme A Break," "Dear John" and "Ellen." She also directed several episodes of "Ellen" with Ellen DeGeneres.
She is survived by her husband, writer Bill Richmond, and a sister.
