Hill's departure comes just shy of her two-year anniversary on July 18. She will remain at Par during the transition period.
Studio has not yet begun a search for her replacement.
From almost her first day on the job, Hill has been the point person for a string of high-profile stories about Grey's eventful tenure, and has coordinated Grey's response.
Hill told Grey she wanted to leave eight weeks ago. The two decided to wait until closer to the release of summer tentpole "Transformers," which bows July 3.
Before coming to work for Grey, Hill was senior VP of West Coast corporate communications for MTV Networks. Before that, she was exec VP of publicity for Miramax, where she worked for eight years.
