Wild Child partners ride with 'Tourists'

Duo team with Milchan to option book

Wild Child partners Ian McGloin and Aimee Peyronnet have teamed with Alexandra Milchan to option "The Tourists," the first novel by Jeff Hobbs.

The producers used their own coin.

Rebecca Hobbs will produce with McGloin and Peyronnet.

Hobbs will write the script, about three former Yale classmates in their late 20s who reconnect in Manhattan, and become involved in an unusual love triangle.Simon & Schuster published "The Tourists" this spring.

Gersh made the deal.

Peyronnet is one of the producers of the Peter Jackson-directed "The Lovely Bones."
