The exec, who joined U three years ago, has overseen such pics as "The Break-Up" and "Accepted" for the studio. He is currently overseeing Guillermo del Toro's "Hellboy 2"; "Big Brothers," starring Paul Rudd and Seann William Scott; and "Death Race," a pic produced by Tom Cruise and Paula Wagner.
While at Revolution Studios, Bernstein oversaw the development and production of the original "Hellboy" with del Toro. Previously, he was VP of production and development at Lionsgate. He exec produced "Confidence" and worked on "Monster's Ball."
Bernstein had earlier experience as VP of production and development at Ignite Entertainment and director of development at Universal-based Mostow/Lieberman Prods. He got his start in the film biz at Jon Peters Entertainment.
