'Nancy Drew' sleuthes L.A. sites

Film premieres at Grauman's Chinese

HOLLYWOOD -- It was tween heaven at the Grauman Chinese Theater premiere of Warners' "Nancy Drew" on Saturday. Although it's unclear how many contemporary moppets are familiar with the literary staple, it hardly mattered since Emma Roberts, star of the Disney Channel's "Unfabulous," plays the femme sleuth.

At the Magic Castle after-party, the teen thesps, including co-stars Max Thieriot, Josh Flitter and Daniella Monet, were considerably less jaded than attendees at adult preems, and ran around the maze-like castle hitting the candy bar, the cupcake bar and the dance floor.

Director Andrew Fleming, who grew up in Los Angeles, shot the pic with a nod to "the real L.A.," including locations in Chinatown and Hollywood High School. "The actors were the most mature I've ever worked with," he said.
