Occupant gobbles 'Food Chain'

Unit to adapt novel for the bigscreen

Occupant Films has decided to dine on "The Food Chain," snagging feature rights to Brit author Geoff Nicholson's tale of gastronomic excess and sexual abandon.

The banner's tapped Captain Mauzner and writing partner James Townsend to adapt the novel, centered on a bad-boy L.A. restaurateur who's asked to join London's secretive Everlasting Club, where a party has been going nonstop for 350 years and members have included the Marquis de Sade, American presidents and European royalty.
