Nothing's official yet, but Telepictures is having serious conversations about relocating Banks' eponymous gabber to Gotham.
Daytime strip has been based in Los Angeles for its first two seasons. Banks' other series, "America's Next Top Model," may then also move to New York.
What's behind the likely move? Telepictures isn't talking, but people familiar with the situation said producers think a shift to New York will bring a different kind of energy to the show, as well as a different guest pool.
Telepictures already has renewed "The Tyra Banks Show" for its third and fourth seasons. Skein's major affils include Fox-owned stations in 22 markets, as well as some Sinclair stations.
Banks continues to juggle her daytime show with her duties as host and exec producer of the CW signature skein "America's Next Top Model."
