The pay web is negotiating a deal to film the David Hare-directed play for broadcast. No airdate has yet been set.
Redgrave just won a Drama Desk Award for solo performance, and she is Tony nominated for her portrayal of Joan Didion in a drama Didion adapted from her own 2005 memoir.
The play covers her grieving process after losing, in quick succession, her husband of 39 years, author John Gregory Dunne, and their daughter, Quintana.
Redgrave, who won a Tony for her last Broadway turn in 2003's "Long Day's Journey Into Night," started a 24-week engagement in the play on March 29.
"The Year of Magical Thinking" is produced by Scott Rudin, Roger Berlind, Daryl Roth, Debra Black and the Shubert Organization.
