L.A.-based Little Film Co. and Germany's Egoli Tossell ("Black Book") are partnering on two films: "Helen" and "Menachem and Fred." The two companies have also partnered on "The Last Station," starring Anthony Hopkins and Meryl Streep.

Under terms of the partnership, the Little Film Co. will handle international sales for both Egoli Tossell-produced films, beginning here in Cannes.

Gillian Anderson ("Bleak House")is attached to star in the love story "Helen," with Jeffrey Dean Morgan ("P.S., I Love You")."Menachem and Fred" is a doc from filmmakers Ronit Kertsner and Ofra Tevet. Pic centers on the reunion of two German-Jewish brothers who were separated in 1945 and took vastly different directions.

"Menachem and Fred" is funded by German and Israeli television as well as German and Israeli public funds.

The Little Film Co. is handling worldwide sales for both films.

Owned by Robbie and Ellen Little, Little Film recently exec-produced "Tsotsi."

ETF is producing the biopic of Geran star Hildegard Knef.
