Acting quartet visits 'Wonderland'

Huffman, Pullman, Fanning star in Barnz debut

Felicity Huffman, Patricia Clarkson, Bill Pullman and Elle Fanning are set to star in "Phoebe in Wonderland," a drama that marks the directorial debut of Daniel Barnz, who wrote the script.

Pic, a co-production of Silverwood Films and Salty Features, will shoot in Manhattan and Long Island this summer. Lynette Howell and Ben Barnz will produce, and Doug Dey will exec produce.

Fanning plays a rebellious little girl who clashes with the rule-obsessed authority figures in her life. She seeks enlightenment from her unconventional drama teacher (Clarkson).

Barnz penned the script for "Sugarland," which Jodie Foster will direct, and has directed plays for the Actors' Gang in Los Angeles and the Williamstown Theater Festival.

Silverwood most recently produced "Half Nelson" and just completed the Mark Heller-directed "The Passage."
