WWE promotes three

Rochester named to exec VP of marketing

World Wrestling Entertainment upped three execs Monday.

Promotions include former Comcast marketing exec Geof Rochester, Stephanie McMahon-Levesque and John Laurinaitis.

Rochester was named to exec veep of marketing. In his new role, he'll be responsible for global marketing, integrated brand initiatives, talent branding, live events, pay-per-view, advertising and promotions, research, creative services, and public and government relations. He reports to Vince McMahon.

Prior to WWE, Rochester held senior marketing positions with Showtime Networks, Comcast Cable, Radisson Hotels and Procter and Gamble.

McMahon-Levesque, the daughter of WWE chairman Vince McMahon, was upped to exec veep of talent and creative writing, where she'll oversee the writing for all television and pay-per-view programming and manage the talent relations department.

WWE lifted Laurinaitis to senior veep of talent relations. He reports to McMahon-Levesque.

Prior to joining WWE in 2001, Laurinaitis did talent relations for World Championship Wrestling.
