Skein "fits our profile because it's cutting edge and has a strong music sensibility," said Fuse president Eric Sherman.
Jim Biderman ("Kids in the Hall") is exec producer of "Whitest Kids," whose cast consists of Trevor Moore, Sam Brown, Zach Cregger, Timmy Williams and Darren Trumeter.
The Whitest Kids first attracted the notice of Fuse with their comedy bits on the Internet two years ago. Half-hour premiered March 20 on Fuse, and Sherman said he's talking to homevideo distributors about packaging a DVD featuring the group. He's also looking for an international distributor to sell the series outside the U.S.
