Ealing Studios makes time for 'Time'

Fellowes to direct adaptation

Ealing Studios has taken worldwide rights to "From Time to Time," the second movie to be directed by Oscar-winning screenwriter Julian Fellowes.

The movie, co-produced by Ealing and Lionhead Prods., will star Maggie Smith, Timothy Spall, Hugh Bonneville and Annie Reid, with further cast to be announced.

Based on Lucy M. Boston's series of books, "The Children of Green Knowe," pic is a magical adventure story about a boy staying at his grandmother's house in WWII, who finds himself transported back in time to appear as a ghost to previous generations of his own family, which enables him to solve a long-standing mystery.

Pic is produced by Fellowes, Liz Trubridge and Paul Kingsley. It will shoot on location in and around London, and at Athelhampton House in Dorset.

Ealing Studios Intl. will launch the project to buyers at Cannes.
