Randall Fried will direct from his original screenplay and produce along with Hector Lopez and Tony Mark; exec producers are Rowland Perkins, Basem Zakariya and Daniel Chai.
Pic, which is independently produced and financed for production company DragonFire Films, centers on the Bay of Pigs invasion as seen through three points of view: those of the CIA war chiefs; the Cuban Exile Brigade, which battled the overwhelming Castro forces; and the Kennedy White House. Forster will portray the supreme military commander of the operation.
Thesp joins an international cast that includes Mexican actor Kuno Becker. Shooting begins July 16 in Vera Cruz, Mexico.
