Valderrama's WV Enterprises, which he runs with production partner Danny Villa, will develop both scripted and unscripted projects for Fremantle with an eye on both the U.S. and international marketplaces. WV is setting up shop at Fremantle's Burbank offices.
Fremantle North America CEO Cecile Frot-Coutaz called Valderrama and Villa "gifted producers with a keen sensibility for entertaining content that appeals to their generation."
Valderrama's main TV production credit is MTV's "Yo Momma," which he created and hosts. WV is developing the feature "PartyBuddys" for Universal.
On the acting side, Valderrama is set to play Ponch in Warners' feature version of "CHiPs."
