WB cable unit promotes DeVitre

Executive made senior VP of business affairs

Warner Bros. Domestic Cable Distribution has promoted Mark DeVitre to senior VP of business affairs and operations from VP of sales.

DeVitre's job is to sell Warner Bros. theatricals, TV series, miniseries, telepics, specials and animation mainly to basic-cable networks and pay TV channels.

Before he joined Warner Bros., DeVitre was senior VP and general manager of the Fox Movie Channel. Based in L.A., he reports to Frankel.
