Floyd arrives from Universal Pictures, where he was senior VP of business affairs.
DreamWorks co-chair/CEO Stacey Snider, who worked with Floyd at U, said he has a proven track record that will make him a valuable addition to the DreamWorks team.
Floyd joined Universal in 2003, negotiating talent and production agreements, producer term deals and co-financing arrangements. He also handled business affairs for many of the producers based on the lot, including Double Feature Films and Playtone.
Before U, he worked at Paramount, handling talent and overall production agreements, as well as acquisition deals for Par Classics.
