Art Simon, 68, agent

Discovered Goldie Hawn and became her personal manager

Art Simon, former William Morris agent and personal manager, died of heart failure in Los Angeles on April 2. He was 68. 

Born in Pasadena, Simon discovered Goldie Hawn when she was a young dancer on "The Andy Griffith Show." He became her personal manager.

After leaving the business, Simon became an outplacement executive. He also earned a degree in gerontology from USC. Simon was active in the Jewish Federation. He is survived by a son.
