E-Vision will air select features as part of its eView pay-per-view service, beginning today.
Deal was unveiled Tuesday by Warner Bros. Intl. TV prexy Jeffrey Schlesinger and E-Vision CEO Humaid Sahoo.
Pics include "Superman Returns," "Flags of Our Fathers," "Happy Feet" and "The Departed" as well as back titles like "The Lord of the Rings" and "The Matrix" trilogies.
E-Vision is a subsidiary of the Emirates Telecommunications Corp. (Etisalat) and the leading cable service in the region.
Established in 2000, it reaches more than 400,000 homes across the UAE -- Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Al Ain and Ajman.
E-Vision beams four channels: In addition to the movie channel e-View, it owns a kids channel, an interactive channel and a news channel.
