Dickhouse Prods., the home of "Jackass" producers Spike Jonze, Johnny Knoxville and Jeff Tremaine, has signed a first-look deal with Paramount Pictures/MTV Films in a bid to expand the company's brand beyond the gross-out franchise.

The idea is for Dickhouse to develop and produce comedies as starring vehicles for Knoxville and projects that Jonze or Tremaine could potentially direct. Par and sister label MTV Films also could look to Dickhouse to develop horror projects.

Dickhouse was already an unofficial member of the Par family, with "Jackass" beginning as a TV series on MTV.

That skein was hatched in 2000 by Knoxville and Tremaine, along with several pals from skateboarding mag Big Brother, which Tremaine edited. Tremaine went on to direct the two "Jackass" features, 2002's "Jackass: The Movie" and last year's "Jackass: Number Two." Tremaine enlisted the help of his longtime friend Jonze when the original series was shopped to TV outlets.

The three banded together under the shingle Dickhouse to produce the TV series and films. "Jackass: The Movie" took in more than $64.2 million at the worldwide box office; "Jackass: Number Two" snared more than $72.7 million.

Par and MTV Films are already developing material with Dickhouse, including "Hot Dog Wars," a previous project at the studio. So far, there has been no official word about a third "Jackass" movie.
