“Seven Days” will be directed by Won Shin-yeon, who helmed horror pic “The Wig” and last year’s “Bloody Aria.”
Kim will portray a successful lawyer who, in order to save her daughter, is pressured into defending the innocence of a man slated to receive the death penalty.
Pic will mark the first bigscreen role in two years for Kim, following her turn in Korean film “Bystanders” in 2005. “Seven Days” will start shooting in April, with a fall release skedded. Kim first won recognition in South Korea with her role in 1999’s “Shiri.”
