The Palm Springs Film Festival has announced Jan. 3-14 as the dates for its 19th annual event. 

Fest also announced that Helen du Toit will return as co-director of programming. 

The festival's annual awards gala will be held Jan. 5 at the Palm Springs Convention Center. 

Du Toit most recently served as program director of the Vancouver Film and Television Forum. She has programmed for various film festivals including Toronto, Seattle and Palm Springs, and held the position of director of programming for the Palm Springs Intl. Short Film Festival.
