Fox inks VOD rights with Cogeco

Titles include 'X-Men,' 'Borat,' 'Ice Age'

HOLLYWOOD -- Twentieth Century Fox and Cogeco Cable have inked a deal granting the Canadian service VOD rights to new and classic movies from Fox.

Pics include "X-Men: The Last Stand," "Ice Age: The Meltdown," "The Devil Wears Prada" and "Little Miss Sunshine." "Borat" is first up, debuting on April 4.

"This agreement will enable us to enhance our VOD selection as well as our customers' experience," said Cogeco VP Ron Perrotta.

Cogeco Cable is the second largest cable operator in Ontario and Quebec. It also serves Portugal, which is not part of the deal with Fox.
