Previously announced voice talent for "Terra," fully financed by Snoot, includes Evan Rachel Wood, Brian Cox, David Cross, James Garner, Danny Glover, Rosanna Arquette, Ron Perlman and Danny Trejo.
Snoot topper Keith Calder and exec Jessica Wu are producing along with Dane Allen Smith and Ryan Colucci. "Terra," which launched production a year ago, is scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter.
Calder told Daily Variety that he's aiming to produce "Terra" as a studio-quality CG pic at a third of the price. CAA's repping distribution rights to the picture.
Script by Evan Spiliotopoulos("Pooh's Heffalump Movie") is based on the 2003 short film "Terra," about the interplanetary conflict between the inhabitants of a peaceful world and the human warriors who want to colonize it.
Calder founded Snoot in 2004 to independently develop, finance and produce both commercial genre-oriented live-action films and CG-animated features.
