Philbin to have heart bypass surgery

No word on length of leave, replacement

Regis Philbin won't be chatting about his weekends or making fun of Gelman for a little while.

Co-host of Disney's top morning syndie talker "Live With Regis and Kelly" will be having heart bypass surgery this week after experiencing chest pains and shortness of breath.

Philbin, 75, has been paired with Kelly Ripa since 2001, after a 12-year run with Kathie Lee Gifford. He also served as host of ABC's gameshow smash "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire."

It's not known how long he will be off the show or who will serve as guest host while he's recuperating.
