Adaptation of the story from Clive Barker's "Books of Blood" collection will be directed by Ryuhei Kitumara.
Shooting begins in Los Angeles on March 18. Lakeshore's Gary Lucchesi and Tom Rosenberg will produce with Barker and Jorge Saralegui, who partnered with the author in the Midnight Picture Show banner.
Jones, who was last seen in "X-Men: The Last Stand," will play a serial killer who stalks the subways looking for victims. Cooper plays a struggling photographer who decides that tracking down and capturing "the subway butcher" on film will improve his fortunes. Shields plays an art gallery owner who befriends the photog, and Bibb will play his girlfriend.
Lionsgate will release the pic in North America.
Lakeshore is in production on "Untraceable." Producer-financier has set April start dates for the Marc Schoelermann-directed thriller "Pathology" and the untitled adaptation of Philip Roth novella "The Dying Animal."
