Showtime still loves "The L Word."

With Showtime's launch of OurChart.com, a social networking site that grew directly out of the skein, and the show's growing popularity in online virtual world Second Life, "This series goes well beyond the boundaries of a mere television show," Greenblatt added.

In addition to "L Word," Showtime has also ordered additional seasons of "Dexter," "Weeds" and "Brotherhood," all set to return later this year.

"The L Word," which premiered in January 2004, is exec produced by Ilene Chaiken through her production company Little Chicken Inc.
