Production is slated to begin this summer.
Story, based on a series of real events that took place in Arizona and California in the late 1990s, concerns a girl suffering from agoraphobia -- the fear of being in open spaces -- who struggles to overcome her problem while being convinced she is involved in a series of grisly murders.
Gary Adelman and John Orland are producing.
Rassulo most recently directed the indie pic "Bull Run."
