Infinity drives 'Back Roads'

Co. currently in development on 'Hailwood'

Michael Ohoven's Infinity Media ("Capote") has acquired feature rights to Tawni O'Dell's bestselling novel "Back Roads" in partnership with Dan Spilo's Artistry Entertainment.

"Back Roads" centers on a young man stuck in the Pennsylvania backwoods caring for his three younger sisters after the shooting death of his abusive father and the arrest of his mother. Family secrets and unspoken truths threaten to consume him.

Infinity is currently in development on "Hailwood," based on the life of British motorcycle champ Mike Hailwood.

Ohoven has recently been a producer on a pair of projects for Lionsgate -- real-life sports drama "Pride," starring Terrence Howard and Bernie Mac, and psychological thriller "Bug," directed by William Friedkin and starring Ashley Judd and Michael Shannon. Infinity's deal was negotiated by Kyle Mann, and O'Dell's by Ken Sherman.
