Pic profiles Capt. Robert Adams, a Confederate officer torn between his love of the South and a woman from the North whom he met as the Civil War broke out.
The film was made by Adams' descendants, with Julian Adams produc-ing, directing and starring; it was lensed where many of the events actually took place.
Gwendolyn Edwards, Eric Holloway, Amy Redford, Joshua Lindsey, Tippi Hedren and Mickey Rooney also star.
