Scripted by "Crank" writer-directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor, the film will mark the feature directing debut of German commercials helmer Marc Schoelermann.
In "Pathology," a group of med students hatch a game to see who can commit the perfect crime, one that even a fellow pathologist couldn't unravel.
Pic will begin production in April, and MGM will distribute the film on Oct. 19. Lakeshore's Tom Rosenberg and Gary Lucchesi are producing with Neveldine and Taylor. Lakeshore's Skip Williamson will also be a producer.
Neveldine and Taylor brought the project to Lakeshore, where they made the Jason Statham starrer "Crank," and are in the early stages of a sequelto that pic.
