Pic is slated to shoot in August in North Western Australia.
Set against the extreme landscape of the Northern Territories, it's a love story about a woman (Weisz) struggling with isolation and loneliness in a remote community, whose passion for life is rekindled by a mysterious drifter (Farrell).
Noyce and his partner Miranda Culley are producing through their Rumbalara Films, with Jeremy Thomas of Recorded Picture as exec producer.
Hanway Films is handling worldwide sales.
