The 13-episode series, which started lensing in late January on location in Texas, offers viewers an inside look at the manic machinations of CBS affil KOSA-TV Channel 7 based in Odessa, Texas.
The series follows the behind-the-scenes drama and daily struggles of a diverse cast of anchors, reporters, trainees and producers as they produce their nightly newscasts and examines what it takes to run a local news station.
"When we watch the local news, we all kind of instinctively know that a lot of hard work and effort went into making it," said executive producer Nick Davis. "But I don't think most of us know how incredibly frantic, funny and improvised the making of a local news broadcast can be."
Series is executive produced by Nick Davis for Nick Davis Prods.
