Int'l TV Academy taps Burman

Hollywood Report g.m. new director of development

The Intl. Academy of TV Arts & Sciences has tapped John Burman as director of development. Burman, previously international general manager of the Hollywood Reporter, will be responsible for securing sponsorships for the I-Academy worldwide. He'll also work on initiatives such as the I-Emmy TV Fest and the annual I-Emmy awards gala.
