LONDON — The Irish Film Board has appointed Andrew Meehan as development executive, working directly with chief exec Simon Perry.
Meehan is an experienced writer and script editor who recently worked on the Advance Party trilogy for Sigma Films/Zentropa Films, and previously served as head of development for Antonine Films in Glasgow and Accomplice Television in Dublin.
At the Irish Film Board, he will be central to Perry's new development strategy, which involves working with writers, directors and producers at a much earlier stage to help bring their projects to fruition.
