DGA national exec director Jay Roth made the announcement Tuesday.
Korduner's been associate general counsel since 2005 and previously held the post from 1995-2001. In the interim, he served as senior counsel for ABC/Touchstone Television and Disney/ABC Cable Networks.
In the associate general counsel post, Korduner's overseen the resolution of grievances, arbitration of claims and litigation and worked within the DGA on compensation, residuals, credits, membership and internal governance; he also participated in negotiations and contract drafting.
Giolito's served as DGA general counsel since 2002. He'll head the new Los Angeles office of New York-based labor entertainment law firm Spivak, Lipton, Watanabe, Spivak, Moss & Orfan.
Giolito has been a labor lawyer for over 30 years and has also represented IATSE, the American Federation of Musicians and the Intl. Brotherhood of Teamsters.
