BBC takes Entertainment to Malaysia

Fare includes 'Doctor Who,' 'Footballers' Wives'

HONG KONG — BBC Global Channels Asia, part of U.K. pubcaster British Broadcasting Corp., has begun broadcasting its BBC Entertainment channel into Malaysia. Carriage is on direct-to-home satellite platform operated by country's Astro All Asia Networks.

Formerly known as BBC Prime, channel's drama, light entertainment and comedy fare includes series "Doctor Who," "Footballers' Wives," "Waking the Dead" and "Rebus."
