Sondheim
Stephen Sondheim will co-compose the music for the upcoming Public Theater production of "King Lear," which Kevin Kline toplines.
Besides Kline, cast includes legit stalwarts Michael Cerveris as Kent, Larry Bryggman as Gloucester, and Logan Marshall-Green as Edmund.
Sondheim is a frequent collaborator of James Lapine, who helms the Off Broadway show. Composer will write the production's music with composer and orchestrator Michael Starobin.
"Lear" begins previews Feb. 9 for a March 7 opening.
