The agency now has nine partners.
McPherson continues as VP of talent and oversees Agency for the Performing Arts' theater department in New York. Humis-ton is part of APA's modern rock department.
"After joining the agency in 1993 and 1995, respectively, Barry and Josh have worked tirelessly to master their discipline and grow into top-notch agents," said APA prexy-chief exec Jim Gosnell.
McPherson, who started at APA as an assistant and has been an agent in the talent division for 11 years, has a client list that includes Josh Cooke, Jorge Garcia, Will Sasso, Gary Dourdan, Crispin Glover, Bruce Campbell, Ron Perlman and John Rhys-Davies.
Humiston becomes the first in APA's 44-year history to matriculate from mailroom to partner. His client list includes the mu-sical acts Flogging Molly, Something Corporate, Jack's Mannequin and X.
They join an APA partner roster that consists of Gosnell, Lee Dinstman, David Saunders, Troy Blakely, Steve Lassiter, Ryan Martin and Matt Ochacher.
