Bravo hires 'Taxicab'

Cable networks hails reality show

In a deal with HBO, Bravo has acquired nine episodes of docudrama series "Taxicab Confessions."

One-hour series makes its basic-cable premiere on Friday with three back-to-back episodes, followed by a New Year's Eve marathon and a fourth original episode on Sunday.

Using hidden lipstick cameras, "Confessions" captured unsuspecting taxicab passengers revealing stories of love, life and loss.

First episode originally aired on HBO in 1995.
