Nuala also won the director award for the pic, about a high school student who takes a number of fellow students hostage as retribution for their maltreatment of him. Pic also won for editing and sound.
The seven-member jury was headed by actress Rima Melati.
Other winners were the country's Oscar submission "Berbagi suami" (supporting actor El Manik and art direction); "Denias" (actor Albert Fakdawer and screenplay); "Heart" (actress Nirina Zubir); and "Mendadak Dangdut" (supporting actress Kinaryosih).
