'Pale' turns to green

Procol Harum keyboardist awarded royalties

Brit keyboardist Matthew Fisher has won 40% share of the royalties for "A Whiter Shade of Pale," the 1960s hit he recorded with Procol Harum.

Band mates Gary Brooker and Keith Reid have claimed authorship of the song and have received the majority of its royalties.

A London justice agreed with Fisher's claim that he deserved more money than he has previously received, but not the nearly $2 million that Fisher had requested.
