She joined DreamWorks Studios as CFO in 1996, soon after its founding. In 2004, Leslie helped take the animation division public. Most recently, she helped forge DWA's distribution pact with Paramount after it bought DreamWorks Studios.
"I am grateful for the guidance and support she has provided, from the early stages of creating DreamWorks through our transition into a public company and to a new distribution partner," CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg said in a statement.
Leslie will stay through February to help DreamWorks Animation finish its 2006 accounting. Company will search for a replacement.
DWA stock seemed unaffected by the news, closing down 1% at $28.33 Friday.
