'At Least It's Pink' gets eight-week run

King will direct script he wrote with Mellman, Everett

"At Least It's Pink," the potty-mouthed evening that teams Michael Patrick King ("The Comeback," "Sex and the City") with Kenny Mellman (of downtown cabaret duo Kiki & Herb) and performer Bridget Everett, gets an eight-week run at Ars Nova starting in January.

King directs the script he penned with Mellman and Everett, with tunes by Mellman and Everett.

"Pink's" collection of songs and stories provide a raunchy look at the exploits, sexual and otherwise, of Everett, who came to Manhattan from Manhattan, Kansas. Show begins previews Jan. 16 for a Jan. 25 opening.
