Broken Lizard has a first-look deal with Warners and will produce "Fat Guy" for the studio, although Heffernan and Lemme's screenplay isn't an official Lizard-penned project.
Storyline revolves around the stereotypical funny fat man who is the life of the party and everyone's mascot. Sick of his lovelorn status, he decides to transform himself, Eliza Doolittle-style.
Warner recently bought another starring vehicle for Heffernan, "The Baby Maker," which Broken Lizard also is producing. After "Beerfeset," he most recently starred in "Dukes of Hazzard" and "Sky High."
Other Broken Lizard projects set up at Warners include "Nutcraker," "Ambulance Chasers" and "Take My Wife." Comedy troupe also is producing "Pony Bush" at Dimension.
Lemme and Heffernan are repped by UTA and 3 Arts Entertainment.
