Man charged in Bangkok after raid

A man was charged with unauthorized broadcasting of copyrighted content after a raid on three cable channels -- Thai Soon, Golden Channel and Sunshine Entertainment -- in Bangkok on Tuesday.

The trio were suspected of illegally airing movies from Motion Picture Assn. member companies. Channels were shut down and equipment seized during the raid, which involved 30 police officers and MPA reps. More arrests are expected.
